Thai oral test over! :)

THAI ORAL TEST IS OVER.

after the test ended, i msg-ed my thai tutor this:

?aacan K, chan chuu joanna kha. thai oral test yaak maak. :(
(teacher K, my name is joanna. thai oral test is very difficult.)

haha. then he replied me telling me tt he will help us check our score cos he left sch already.

9 more days to exam! but why am i still here?! relax lo. ONLY form of relaxation/leisure now since im nt a big fan of tv prog.

preparation is pretty alrite. shld be on time for all exams. worry not, jo.

anyway shall just blog abt my oral test before i hit the books again.

you are shopping with your thai friend at takashimaya. ask your thai friend what she wants to buy and buy for who. tell ur thai friend where she can get them at and ask your thai fren for chinese meal (thai fren is supposed to reject and says she does not like chinese food)

i was the thai fren and YP was the singapore fren.

our idea was i wan to buy bag for mother, wallet for father, book for brother and radio for sister.

so the usual sawadi kha, greetings etc.

we GUAI GUAI followed the requirements for the topic. then we tried to be funny and added this:

YP: do u wanna buy a LV bag for me too?
jo: LV bag expensive. i got no money.
YP: wat abt GUESS bag?
jo: LV bag and GUESS bag, GUESS bag is cheaper. okay lo, i buy for you.

tt got the testers laughing. :)

good thing for us i guess.

i was a little startled by the questions that the 2 testers asked when we entered the room. i thot e format of the test was a scenario only?! i didnt know they will ask random qns. but does nt matter to me since i S/U it. remaining 2 S/U-s, i will use it for level 2 and 3 thai. :)

thai is such a tonal language. i appreciate the beauty of thai because it is such a gentle and soft-toned language. a polite and sweet language.

let me say it the last time, u dun go YUCKS whenever i mention the thai language. every language is beautiful in its own ways. same goes to YOUR language and MY language.

thailand may not be an advanced country, but still, it does not mean that the people there are low-class and inferior. they are such polite and warm group of people. just like how our teacher added us to his msn and vice versa. when i told my tutor tt i will be going to thai next year feb, he told me to drop by his office so tt he can tell me where are the nice hotels to stay and where i can get value for money stuff. i cant write lengthy post to argue with you. but nah, i find no reason to argue with a narrow-minded person like you.

YAY! tmr no need to meet phone seller means i can sleep more! surgery tmr! so scared.. :(
