i cant rememeber what i want to say. you know, i can think of a trillion things to say and then i forget them instantly the moment blogger loads the page.
right, today was a pretty fulfiling day. today was 2x pay day, my sister's bday, "picnic" day, sleep day. oh whatever. i had small packs of joy everywhere i went.
joanna sounds more and more like an auntie cos she blogs abt mundane stuff nowsdays. what do u expect? her life is as mundane as any typical working adult now. *pout* oh speaking of aunties, there was this call when i addressed this auntie as xiaojie and she was so happy and she said to me (conversed in mandarin) "miss im so happy that u addressed me as xiaojie. im no longer xiaojie already you know, but im still happy." aaahh, small actions go a long way. to me, so long if u speak politely to me, u are a xiaojie in any ways. if u are rude to me, even if u are only 16, u are still an auntie to me. pui.
so today was picnic day. well, was supposed to be la. but it rained so i ended up eating in one of the shelters of the ecp hawker. my sister was there celebrating her bday with her good friends too. teddy bear chicken wings, stingray, oyster omelette, big coconut. sinful but absolutely delicious. walked from the hawker to the mac part and ate twister fries. YES THEY ARE BACK. YAY.
met up with my sister for a while cos she was at mac and feipo and i wished her happy birthday. work next, another yay, 2x pay. grin.
tmr is going to be another fun day. ZOO! i think i just went there not long back. but there is always something new to learn. i shall attempt to visit those animals that i didnt manage to see previously.
today i felt a tinge of sadness cos i thot of something. not nice to talk about it here and this thing does not affect me much in any way but somehow it just struck me for a moment. i guess it is true that fate really decides the kinda friends that you make. i dont care about one-sided friendships. but there are times where 2-sided friendships seem so vulnerable bcos the 2 parties do not click yet they never wanna meant it this way. i guess there is only one person who knows wat im talking about.
YAY. my da chang jin vcd is right in my room.
YAY. dad installed cable tv. more shows to watch. but im so mad cos he didnt add in the education basic group. HOW CAN?! I WANNA WATCH THAT. i have his ic number, shall call in tmr to add it in. sharon, you better dun bao toe me i tell you.
