the journey.

as you grow older, fewer things really matter to you. learn to share joy because it comes back to you at the end of the day.

it is always like tt.

after working for some time during the holidays, u never fail to miss school. i guess nus/ntu/smu does the same thing (that is to have a freaking long break of 3 months) so tt their students will miss school.

though im not studying for my future career, i cant help to miss school still. i miss the carefreeness and the freedom to skip sch as and when we wan. of course, that is our loss, but oh well, which student really care if they make up their mind to skip for their share of fun outside school/lecture theatre?

i miss sitting alone in the corner of the LT. i miss seeing familiar faces. i miss the food in canteen. i miss having fairs in school. i miss having china-accent lecturers. i miss pouring chemicals into those beakers/conical flasks/test-tubes. i miss generating lab reports. (i hated this the most yet i miss it, what is wrong with me?!) i miss skipping tutorials. i miss the shuttle buses. i miss thai and thai teachers. i miss bus95. i miss waking up late for lectures and then fall back to slp again cos u know there is no point in rushing. i miss surprising my mum when i can wake up for my 8am lecture. i miss having meals at 5.30pm so tt i can go to work on time.

i miss so many things. perhaps it could be a wrong choice for me to nt work hard and study for honours. (note the word perhaps) but ahhh, it is going to be so right cos i believe everything happens for a reason.

take things in my stride and i will be a happier person. live each day as it is and not fret over too many things. my principle in life during my growing up years.

yesterday i worked for 1/2 of the day. went to gram's place for a nap. my grandma was luffing at me cos i was toothless and i cldnt bite properly. despite the difficulites in bitting, i ate

-2 malay kueh for breakfast.
-mee soto and 2 mashed potato (i dunno wat e name is, but u know the one tt always come with mee soto)
-grandmother's dinner.
-mee goreng
-cut fruits for supper.

i slept for 11 hrs today. gosh, been a freaking long time i ever slept like tt. i woke up to see the sun shining directly at me!

right, i finished what i have to do for today and im gg to office at 7pm. only 1 hr ot today.

ECP tmr. YAY. cycling!

anyone taking introduction to computing and thai III next sem?

thai III is going to be oh-so-difficult. with essays to be submitted every week and a thai movie every now and then (w/o the subtitles hor dun play play), it is going to be so time consuming. but who ever says learning new thing is easy?

i once comteplated to take malay I cos it may look good that i can speak 4 languages. but what is the point of having a 3rd and 4th language when u can barely communicate with the other party?

i know my own weakness. languages have never been my forte. i cant write and rememeber difficult vocabs and writing has always been a mission-impossible kinda thing for me. therefore, i figured that it would be good to just concentrate on one language first.

i really need sum time to sit alone and study my thai. maybe thai I and thai II books and some hot chocolate at one of the cafes these days before sch reopens.
